Zuri's journey mirrors our own as a company. The road to bring her into the world wasn't an easy one, but it was a road filled with determination, love, and a vision of celebrating black girls globally. As a child and through adulthood I dreamed of dolls that truly represent black girls, dolls that exude confidence, beauty, and self-identity. Kool Image Dolls was born from that dream.
One of the key aspects of our mission at Kool Image Dolls is to build the self-esteem of black children worldwide through their dolls. It's about more than just play; it's about empowerment. We believe in the transformative power of positive self-identity play and engagement.
Part of this empowerment is teaching our children about personal boundaries, and that includes their beautiful hair. The Kool Image Dolls pledge embodies this principle, declaring, "I love myself.
